Lyn
Constable Maxwell is an established sculptor working in the figurative
tradition for both public bodies and private clients.
Her work is characterised by a deep emotional energy and a mastery of
the formal demands of the medium.
"I am a figurative sculptor,
working primarily in bronze. I aim to interpret the wishes of my commissioning
client both imaginatively and architecturally. I am delighted to welcome
visitors to my studio in France, or meet clients in England. My work
is suitable for gardens, schools, hospitals and churches. I also produce
smaller presentation pieces to commemorate special occasions."
"I wish to give
form to the inner energy, that runs like an emotional artery through
images from mythology, the dance, and human relationships."
